Shannon Jade Wilson
Art, community, heritage
Multidisciplinary artist exploring folklore, memory, land and the spectral through print, installation, sculpture, moving image and sound.
I create atmospheric works rooted in Irish folklore, mourning traditions and the traces held by materials and places. My practice moves between intimate processes of drawing and printmaking and immersive installations formed through hair, flax, chalk, voice and projected image.
Alongside my studio practice, I develop socially engaged and participatory projects across schools, museums, cultural organisations and community settings.
