Art Practice
A selection of recent exhibitions, projects, and artworks.
My multidisciplinary practice explores folklore, memory, grief and the traces held within bodies, materials and landscapes. Drawing on Irish mythology, ghost stories, oral histories and personal archives, I work across printmaking, drawing, sculpture, moving image, sound and installation. Hair, flax, chalk, branches, voice and projected image become carriers of presence and absence, transformed through processes of gathering, knotting, layering, repetition and compression. Through these works, I consider the landscape as a living archive, one that absorbs memory, preserves what has passed and allows personal experience to overlap with collective folklore.
